Respirator Fit Testing
If employees are required to wear respirators they must be fit tested annually, and fit testing requires a medical clearance and possibly a Pulmonary Function Test (PFT). BIO can help comply with these regulations.
- On-line Medical Clearances to certify ability to wear equipment
- Qualitative Fit Testing using Bitrex or Noxious Smoke for exposures of less than 100 ppm of contaminants
- Respirator training on use and care of equipment
- NIOSH certified technicians
- Pulmonary Function Testing that determines ability to wear equipment
- Quantitative Fit Testing available through specialized independent partner for exposures with greater than 100 ppm of contaminants or hazardous materials
